A more recent part of Kennedy's range of work has been the establishment of a state of the art digital recording facility. Under the banner of Kennedy Music Ltd., established in 2010, he has invested in a system based around a highly specified Mac Pro and Apple's Logic Pro Digital Audio Worksation, with Sample libraries by Project Sam (Symphobia & Symphobia 2), Native Instruments, (Kontakt 4), Ivory, Real Guitarist, Superior Drummer, Vienna, Miroslav Philharmonik and many others. Investment continues apace with current developments.
There are traditional synthesizers by Kurzweil (K2500X) and Yamaha (S90 and S90 XS), a Yamaha Motif-Rack ES, and a Roland JV 2080 synthesizer module with expansion.
Acoustic recordings are made with an sE Electronics Z5600a II microphone, and soon to arrive TL Audio pre-amp/compressor input channel.
The most recent upgrade includes integrating the AMS Neve 8816 Summing Mixer, along with a new SSL XLogic Alpha-Link MX 4-16 digital-analogue converter. This brings the best of digital/analogue conversion together with the analogue warmth that Neve are famous for.
Monitoring is delivered by the award-winning Focal CMS 50 system with CMS Sub.
